This Blog is about our humble beginnings back in 2016. As a group of young entrepreneurs and friends living in the tallest Block in Dubai Marina we have sussed out the lack of a decent barber shop quite easily. The idea was always to recreate an old school vintage Barbershop with a New York style and feel to it and become the best barber shop in Dubai.
As the retail unit we currently occupy came up for sale we had to jump on the opportunity and there was no time to waste. Luckily we already had found the perfect partner for the design and fit out. The amazing guys from 800 INTERIOR Algebra Contracting. Quickly the suggested to create 3D images for our shop so we’d know exactly what we would be working towards. The excitement grew and it became clear that this really had the potential for a barber shop like no one else had seen before in the Dubai Marina. The whole process took us from February until opening in August. There were a few set backs inflicted by the Firefighting company who delayed us for about 2 months, but luckily the guys from Algebra managed to push things through.
3 years in we are still growing and still excited about our barber family with some of the best barbers in Dubai from Lebanon, Morocco, Jordan and Bosnia. Of course success never stays unnoticed and we have been attempted to be copied multiple times in the surrounding buildings such as Princess Tower, Emaar First Six original Towers, Al Seef Tower and even in the very same building as we are in MAG 218. However we still remain pioneers in our business and aim to reinvent ourselves constantly to deliver the best customer experience you fill find in any Barber shop in Dubai with services like Manicure, Pedicure, Facials, Facial waxing, hot towel shaves, beard coloring, hair coloring, keratin and hair straightening procedures etc…. The end game really is for Goodfellas to be the best Barber Shop in Dubai.
